SUMMARY:Risonanza
DESCRIPTION:Risonanza\, meaning resonance in Italian\, captures how music continues to evolve\, reverberating through time while carrying the imprints of the past. Presented by the NP Concert Band as part of NP Arts Fest 2025\, this performance reflects the festival’s theme: Honouring Traditions\, Shaping New Narratives\, through a symphonic conversation between heritage and innovation. \nFrom familiar classical works to contemporary and local compositions\, Risonanza explores how sound bridges eras\, communities\, and creative identities. Each note performed by the band embodies the continuity of music; resonating beyond the stage\, uniting performers and audiences in shared rhythm and emotion. \nRisonanza is both a reflection and a renewal: a tribute to the timeless language of music\, and a celebration of how it continues to inspire new generations of musicians at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. \nProgramme\nFreude March to Joy\nLovely Singapore\nEnglish Folksong Suite\nFirst Suite in Eb\nPostcard from Singapore
