Lyadov’s magical trio of tone poems from Slavic legends joins the glitz and nostalgia of Gershwin’s beloved Broadway classic, Porgy and Bess, in this attractive programme. Conducted for the first time by Singapore Symphony Orchestra Quantedge Music Director Hans Graf, watch the Singapore National Youth Orchestra demonstrate the full colours of the orchestral palette before presenting Sibelius’s magnificent Second Symphony.
