Symphonic Sounds 2025

Symphonic Sounds 2025 continues being SWS’s longest-running concert series, a tradition since 1978. This year features a special joint performance by the Singapore Wind Symphony (SWS) and the Singapore Wind Symphony Youth (SWSY) – revived in 2023 after a long hiatus.

Opening the program, the Singapore Wind Symphony Youth will make their Symphonic Sounds debut with three works: Exultate by Samuel R. Hazo, An American Elegy by Frank Ticheli, and Saga Candida by Bert Appermont.

For the second half, the Singapore Wind Symphony takes the stage with a selection that includes Kinderszenen (2025) by Bertram Wee, A Hymn for the Lost and Living by Eric Ewazen, and Bert Appermont‘s A Brussels Requiem.
